We would like to share with you our dream of implementing a new project in olive farming in Türkiye.
About 14 years ago, we stumbled upon the Geyikli Naturel olive grove purely by chance. It has an interesting story. We were introduced to olive cultivation in a completely unfamiliar location, something we knew nothing about. After acquiring the grove, whose location we didn't even know, we initially had no idea what we were going to do with it.
At that time, some of our friends said we did a great job, while others asked what we were going to do with the olive grove. We had no idea whether what we were doing was good or bad, but in the process that followed, we developed some dreams.
Over time, we were able to realize some of these dreams. Through challenging, tiring, but enjoyable experiences, we learned what an olive tree is, how to care for it, how to harvest it, how to press its oil, and, more importantly, how it shapes the cultural landscape of its region.

Today, we have an olive grove that we named Geyikli Naturel, and an olive oil brand bearing the same name. We have tried to share this olive grove, located near the Geyikli town in the Ezine district of Çanakkale, with everyone who dreams of olive farming but hasn't had the opportunity, and we have hosted many friends at Geyikli Naturel.

Yes, olive cultivation and olive oil production is a challenging endeavor. Learning the culture associated with this valuable resource is a lengthy process. Furthermore, as we've observed around us, it's the dream of one in two city dwellers approaching middle age. Based on this, we developed this project, which excites us greatly. We discussed the "Olive Tree Donor" project at length with friends, some knowledgeable about olive cultivation and others not. Their ideas greatly contributed to the project's maturation. However, we realized something was still missing. Therefore, we decided that it would be best to leave the project at the conceptual stage and allow it to grow into a field of experience based on the experiences of its participants.
In short, the "Olive Tree Donor" project...
It was established as a platform open to everyone who is curious and eager about olive trees, olive farming, and olive culture, but who hasn't had the chance to experience it.
It encourages everyone to become a donor of an olive tree, perhaps naming it after a loved one or even their child.
The donor, in whatever way they choose, undertakes the one-year upkeep of an olive tree at Geyikli Naturel farms.
The donor receives seasonal updates about the annual cycle of the tree they donated.
When harvest season arrives, we meet with donors at Geyikli Naturel. Everyone harvests their own olives, presses them themselves, tastes the resulting oil, and takes it home.
For donors who, for any reason, are unable to join us during the harvest season, we send them olive oil made from the olives harvested from the trees they donated.
Thus, by expanding the family, we aim to broaden our area of experience sharing and to take the project to the next level together at the end of each harvest season.
